Publication Information

«Programming and Computer Software» journal is the translation of “Programmirovanie” journal of Russian Academy of Sciences, published in Russia and in Russian. Read more about English version of our journal here and here.

We publish papers written only in Russian (English text optional). Reviewers are working only with Russian texts, and usually reviewing papers takes two or three weeks, and never more than two months. This journal uses double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. If the reviewing process is positive for authors, we may send them an official acknowledgment of the receipt of their paper. Authors may be informed about DOI only after the particular journal issue is published.

Please, remember that «Programming and Computer Software» journal publishes only original papers, which were never published before. As a rule, any article should not exceed 20 pages in size. To send papers and additional files (if any), please, use this address.

The publishers of the journal "Programming and Computer Software" consider it unacceptable to publish more than three articles prepared with the participation of the same author within one calendar year. In case an article is submitted to the editorial board in a single calendar year, at least one of whose co-authors that has previously published (or received a confirmation of acceptance for publication of) three articles, the new article will be rejected, and the authors will be asked to reconsider the author list or postpone publication of the article until the following year.

We publish papers free of charge.
