Abstract

This paper formulates a mathematical model of river flow for the Pemzenskaya channel of the Amur River. A finite element implementation of the problem solver was implemented using the Amur information system. The model and calculation algorithms were verified. Information on the channel's bottom surface topography and Amur River level graphs, necessary for determining the boundary conditions of the problem, were obtained from the Amur information system. Estimated water level marks and flow velocity fields for the channel are presented for the selected roughness coefficient.
